FRIENDS OF ALABONSON PARK may be otherwise referred to as (FOAP) on this website. 

Friends Of Alabonson Park, Inc. is a Texas not-for-profit corporation.

Friends Of Alabonson Park, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.

MEMBERSHIP 

Friends Of Alabonson Park shall include, and is not limited to as its members, one designee from Greater Inwood Partnership and the homeowner associations/civic clubs of the following subdivisions: Candlelight Forest, Candlelight Forest West, Woodland Trails, Woodland Trails North, Chateau Forest, Inwood Northwest, and Parkland Place.


PURPOSE

 NOTE:  Our purpose description has changed to meet the requirements of Precinct 1 operations.


The purpose of the Friends Of Alabonson Park is to:

a.      support Alabonson Park by assisting in the recruitment and training of volunteers,

b.      help educate children and the general public in physical activity, civic engagement and natural history, promote community programs,

c.       raise funds to help support the programs and development of the park, and

d.      provide support and assistance when requested by the park staff in any other area of endeavor in the park or relevant to the operation of the park.  

  Contributions to the Friends of Alabonson Park are tax deductible to the extent allowed by federal law.
The Friends of Alabonson Park, Inc. is an exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
